Job Overview:

The Personal Injury Attorney will represent clients in personal injury cases, from initial consultation through trial. The role involves client communication, legal research, drafting legal documents, and courtroom advocacy.

Duties:

• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the case.
• Take and defend depositions of witnesses and experts.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Lead mediations and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials and hearings.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Ohio State Bar.
• Experience drafting and responding to motions.
• Substantial knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Ohio State Bar.
