Senior Consultant, Organization Effectiveness
Reports to: VP, Organization Effectiveness
Responsible for one or more OE enterprise processes, methodologies or programs with a current emphasis on Change Management. Provides leadership for HR change management through thought leadership, building of tools, methodologies and capability.
Provides organization development/effectiveness consultation to Business Unit HRBPs, leaders and teams with a focus on positively moving the business through substantial change initiatives with a focus on the people component of change management strategy. Effectively leverages PROSCI change management methods for capability building and remains current on leading change management strategy. Provides consultation on the activation of integrated change plans and facilitates strategic sessions in partnership with HRBPs.
JOB SUMMARY: Provides organization effectiveness expertise and associated consulting to build capabilities of leaders, associates and HR to achieve overall business strategy, business unit objectives and functional alignmentLOCATION: Human Resources/OD-OEREPORTS TO: VP, Organization Effectiveness; no direct reports but will manage project and/or virtual teams.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Responsible for one or more OE process, methodologies and programs such as associate engagement, change management, organization design, culture transformation, strategic facilitation, leader and team effectiveness and rewards and recognition. Provides thought leadership, building of tools and methodologies and management of processes, budget, and deliverables to achieve program outcomes.2. Provides org development/effectiveness consultation to leaders and teams, with a focus on aligning strategy, structure and people systems. Designs and implements strategies to improve organization effectiveness. Designs and leads, in partnership with HRBP's and business leaders, implementation of organization effectiveness initiatives,3. Creates strategies, processes and programs to facilitate the development of a unique culture supporting Nationwide's On Your Side brand promise.4. Performs other related duties as assigned.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Education: Undergraduate or Masters degree in Organizational Development/Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Business or related area.Experience: Minimum of 10 years progressively responsible Organization Effectiveness role(s), preferably in large organization(s).Knowledge and Skills: Solid knowledge and consulting experience in several of the following areas: change management, organization design, culture transformation, leader and team effectiveness, associate engagement and recogntion and rewards. Demonstrated skills in building collaborative relationships, influencing and facilitating/coaching groups toward achievement of objectives, and business acumen. organizational systems diagnosis and planning, coaching, Proven ability to execute practical solutions in complex environments. Demonstrated skill in managing multiple projects and managing medium to large-scale changes.
