Description
The Senior Accreditation Professional working in tandem with Humana Pharmacy Inc. and Humana Pharmacy Solutions (PBM) leadership to successfully demonstrate their ability to meet regulatory requirements and standards, established by recognized accreditation organizations.
Responsibilities
The Senior Accreditation Professional emphasizes quality assurance and a commitment to continuous quality enhancement. Begins to influence department's strategy in meeting accreditation compliance through existing polices, processes and procedures. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding compliance to the accreditation organization's standards. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. The Senior Accreditation Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues to maintain audit readiness to avoid risk, focus on metrics not being met aligning with impacted business owners, and resolution of unmet metrics.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or 2-3 years of pharmacy accreditation experience
2 or more years experience in pharmacy accreditation (URAC, ACHC, NABP, NCQA, JACHO), process improvement, data analytics, Compliance and Risk Management
Previous experience working with senior leadership and driving a successful accreditation outcome
Exceptional analytical skills, including both problem solving and technical proficiency
Demonstrated advanced skills in Excel, Access, and database creation/management
Demonstrated excellent time management skills with proven ability to be flexible, adapt to changing environment, handle multiple tasks and deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Commitment to continuous process improvement
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated successful relationship building
Ability to put context around data and identify problems and solutions
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Experience working with cross-functional business areas
Preferred Qualifications
Clinical accreditation experience
Demonstrated experience with process improvement
Excellent research and investigative skills
