Profile

Court Operations Associate
The candidate will join the Probate/Mental Health Division. Will accurately complete administrative work by performing high level case processing and data entry work for civil commitment, guardianship, conservatorship, trusts, and estates cases utilizing court technology systems to assure equal access for the fair and timely resolution of cases and controversies. Provide excellent customer service by assisting and communicating with court users in a professional, courteous and respectful manner to ensure the customer's needs are effectively met at the front counter, over the phone, or through electronic means. Coordinate, communicate, and collaborate on work with team members to ensure efficient and accurate case processing. Review and process all filings for timeliness, statutory compliance, and proper document security as required by local and court-wide policies and procedures. Must have High school diploma or equivalent. Should have 6 months of recent experience in a highly technical, administrative position (for example: court clerk, legal assistant, medical billing specialist, etc.) OR equivalent education or experience. Must be proficient with electronic document applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, or Adobe Acrobat, with the ability to learn other job-related software. Experience preparing court orders and court forms preferred. Extensive knowledge of current Civil Commitment Court policies, procedures, and processes desired. Experience with scheduling and calendar management a plus. Knowledge and working experience with Minnesota case management system (MNCIS), eFile and Serve (EFS), and SharePoint desired. Experience providing exceptional customer service in a high volume, fast-paced environment preferred. Experience working closely with attorneys, judicial officers, and other individuals in professional roles desired.
