What We’re Looking For:

The Placement Manager is responsible for the overall success of the placement function for a specific university program(s). The Placement Manager is responsible for all aspects of team performance management, including setting goals and metrics to ensure students are placed on-time in quality settings for each start date. They will work with University partners to ensure quality placements are made and ensure positive student outcomes. The Placement Manager will work cohesively with other departments including Student Success, Admissions, and Academic Advising and is a critical player in executing 2U’s white-glove level of service.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

Ensure placement specialists meet or exceed metrics towards on-time and quality placements through 1v1s, auditing, and trainings.

Communicate placement needs, issues, and approvals with faculty to ensure students are placed on time.

Communicate with Student Success, Admissions, or Program Management managers to ensure KPIs are met successfully and the team has the necessary tools to execute on placements.

Work with fellow placement managers, HR, and L&D to ensure placement specialists have the necessary tools to complete job responsibilities.

Work with fellow placement managers and directors to plan for larger placement initiatives, efficiencies, and development.

Things That Should Be In Your Background:

2 years of experience in client relationships, placement, or management

Demonstrated account management skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders

Demonstrated experience managing people and process from start to finish

Working Conditions:

10-20% travel

In Colorado, the anticipated base salary for this role is $75,000, with potential bonus eligibility. Note: The final compensation for this position may consider factors including the geographic location where the work is performed (candidate’s assigned office) and prior work experience of the candidate.
