You will oversee all aspects of the Saatchi Art email marketing program. We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge and experience with managing an enterprise level email marketing programs. Our ideal candidate is someone that can come in and hit the ground running by taking full control of our email marketing operations. The Senior Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the programs strategic direction, content marketing, campaign development and execution, analysis and subscription growth.
Responsibilities:
- Development, execution and management of all Saatchi Art’s email communications including transactional and triggers
- Manage the ESP vendor relationship including facilitating all internal technical and creative discussions with partner
- Execute best practices for email marketing including email creative, segmentation, dynamic content, testing methodologies, deliverability, list growth, IP nurturing, etc.
- Provide creative, strategic insight and direction regarding copy and content approaches, calls to action and promotional strategies
- Maintain email communication calendar and manage new email requests accordingly
- Develop and maintain testing calendars, assist with the execution of testing key email components (subject lines, template formats, creative variations, time of day, day of week) and partner with cross-functional teams to apply key findings and improve email performance
- Formulate and execute end-to-end email strategy/tactics to maximize email KPIs including deliverability, open rate, ctr, traffic, revenue and conversion metrics
- Maintain and grow the email subscriber database including list hygiene, privacy and opt-in/opt-out standards
- Execute new email acquisition list building programs using internal and external subscriber growth sources
- Identify trends in behavior and transactional performance to enhance email segmentation, targeting, lifecycle and personalization in support of improving existing email programs, developing new trigger campaigns and driving customer loyalty
- Analyze and report on all email results/KPIs highlighting successes, trends and opportunities.
- Understand and monitor the competitive landscape for customer email activities and strategies, provide insight and recommendations to drive Saatchi Art’s email program to be the market leader within the art vertical
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience driving customer growth and revenue through the email marketing channel
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field
- Experience with Google Analytics and enterprise level ESP platforms
- Must be analytical, detail-oriented and comfortable with fast-paced environment
- Proficient with HTML and inline CSS to implementing responsive, mobile-friendly emails
- Experience working with various files types like CSV, TXT and Excel files and importing appropriate and filtered lists into email tools
- Understanding of email best practices, CAN-SPAM compliance and data privacy
- Basic competency with image editing tools
