Pricing & Contracts Manager Comm Ops
The candidate will strategize and collaborate with sales representatives and managers to recommend pricing/sales solutions and renewals that best fit customer and business needs. Evaluate requests for pricing exceptions/discounts and package options with field sales and determine approvable options. Participate in pricing/contract negotiations with strategic customers. Communicate with customers and sales channels to explain how pricing is derived. Review and prepare complex contract documents to meet customer needs while adhering to our fiduciary responsibility to the company. Maintain knowledge of INDG products policies, and procedures to assist and provide support to internal and external customers. Work closely with Field Sales and Sales Management to optimize pricing and product strategy to drive sales and retention. Work with other units and sales teams to resolve questions and issues. Assess risks from a contractual, financial and operational level. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s degree required; MBA and/or JD preferred. Must have 6 years’ experience including at least 2 years of management experience in an appropriate combination of: 1) sales or marketing, including experience in sales strategy, deal review and pricing negotiation, 2) working with Bloomberg Industry Group or similar products and pricing 3) providing contract administration support in a related business environment. Prior experience in the Legal & Regulatory Information Industry.
