Description

The Senior Data/Application Architect works in all environments which includes design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation. The Senior Architect work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Data/Application Architect responsible for developing blueprints for all repositories, evaluating designs and software platforms, and systems. Translates business needs into long-term architecture solutions. Defines, designs and builds cloud-based schemas. Evaluates reusability of current cloud-based repositories for separate analyses. Designs and develops IT applications architecture solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. Performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications. Develops specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent applications. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

The candidate will be able to operate independently and lead others on proper cloud solutions for various applications. The Architect will be highly knowledgeable on Azure, DevOPS, containerization of applications, and serverless architecture. Additionally, skill with event driven solutions (ie Kafta, Azure Event Hubs) will be necessary.

Required Qualifications

GCP, ADO and/or Azure for cloud-based development (minimum of 2 years active experience)

Azure DevOps

Building solutions for various applications

Serverless and containerized application architecture

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (7 years experience may be substituted for degree)

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Coding Experience with various platforms (ie .NET, J2EE, Node.js)

Master's Degree

Additional Information

This position will report to the Associate Director, Technology Solutions, IT HPE - Digital Channels & Contact Centers

This position is open to all candidate time zones. However, candidate will be required to work on EST.
