Duties: Ensures compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements. Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management. Partners with the VP of HR to understand and execute the company’s talent strategy, future hiring needs, recruiting and retention. Administers and track Leaves of Absence, including EDD Disability, and Paid Family Leave claims. Administration of benefits plan enrollment to include eligibility notification, auditing enrollment information for accuracy, reconciliation of missing deductions and answering all employee questions regarding benefits. Manages the talent acquisition process, which includes recruitment, interview, and hiring. Investigates employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution. Oversees exit interviews and procedures. Conduct new hire orientation. Maintain HR systems and processes. Attend interdepartmental meetings with managers. Maintain and update employee records and benefits files. Support with 401k inquiries. Ensure timely payment of monthly insurance premiums. Acts as HR Business Partner to Department Managers. Handles Employee Relations. Responsible for Performance Management.
