Duties: Draft pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence. Assist attorneys with deposition preparation and other discovery requests. Prepare for client meetings, including document productions, depositions, hearings, and trials. Review and summarize medical records. Organize exhibits. Front Desk responsibilities. Maintain case management files, both hard & soft file maintenance. Open and maintain files. E-filing documents with State and Federal Courts. Edit, proofread, finalize and send out a variety of documents. Manage attorney calendars including docketing court deadlines. Submit attorney reimbursements and case-related check requests. Assist with the monthly billing process. Provide backup/support for other secretaries as needed.
