Legal Recruiting Coordinator
Duties: Managing full cycle of legal recruiting for summer and lateral candidates to include communicating with candidates, coordinating travel, and hosting candidates once they arrive at the firm. Screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer letters for legal candidates. Managing the ATS for legal candidates to include reviewing lateral candidate resumes, generating interview appointments, and reporting on legal candidate statistics. Assisting in developing and maintaining relationships with law school placement offices and coordinating student outreach activities. Managing the summer associate program to include student recruitment through on-campus interviews and job fairs, planning events, maintaining evaluations, and maintaining contact with summer candidates. Managing Fall on-campus interview schedules in collaboration with Legal Recruiting Manager. Regularly maintaining the electronic recruiting filing system and documentation on legal recruiting procedures. Working with Legal Recruiting Manager to interface with Recruitment Committee members and Practice Group Leaders to determine current hiring needs and implement recruitment strategy. Maintaining strict confidentiality with regard to all firm and staff information, including the handling of files, directorship track information, salaries, and other firms/client-related information. Coordinating with Human Resources and/or General Counsel to ensure that all pre-hire checklist items are completed, including background and reference checks, conflicts, and employment eligibility authorization.
