Position Summary

The Call Center Software System Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, operation and maintenance of the system software, configurations, applications, IVR (Interactive Voice Recognition), and all related Call Center infrastructure. System administration support consists of providing agency expertise on the configuration and daily production support activities including problem and change management, system documentation, call flow configuration, and VoIP configuration services. Problem resolution and consulting activities will include other state agencies and vendors.

This position develops and recommends policy standards, procedures and guidelines for utilizing corporate security, including tools and methodologies. This position also provides enterprise project leadership and the duties necessary to insure call center projects are well-defined, scoped, planned, executed and managed throughout the project development lifecycle so that acceptable IT systems are delivered on-time and on-budget.

This position provides enterprise and solution architecture consulting, expertise and leadership, and provides technical consulting and support for the management, upgrade and integration activities related to DOT’s IT environments, facilities, tools and methodologies. This position also has the responsibility to conduct training to the appropriate audience on software, systems, projects, etc.

This position may require occasional travel to various customer locations throughout the state.

Minimally qualified candidates must have experience with all of the following:

Configuring call center software (such as Call Center Anywhere)

Configuring call routing and/or work flows

Conducting Skype for Business configurations

Developing presentation materials and conducting training
