Closely Held Asset Manager - Lead Fiduciary Specialty Asset Manager
The candidate will lead complex initiatives regarding portfolio of closely held business interests, including stock and other ownership interests, held in wealth management fiduciary accounts with broad impact and act as key participant in large-scale planning for Fiduciary Specialty Asset Products. Perform on-going asset review reporting activities, including business financial and operating performance analysis, in order to assess and manage risk, support account acceptance and holding recommendations, and to ensure compliance with banking regulations, fiduciary standards and the firm’s s investment policy. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term business, operational, or technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Establish solid business relationships with internal partners, business stakeholders, and centers of influence in order to provide an unparalleled level of client service in resolving asset related issues, carrying out asset sale negotiations, assisting in new business development and raising market awareness. Analyze entity financial statements and tax returns, business operating information, complex legal documents and corporate actions. Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring strong understanding of the functions, policies, procedures and compliance requirements that influence and lead Fiduciary Specialty Asset Products to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives. Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve deliverables. Communicate the recommendations, decisions and concepts derived from analysis to business executives, attorneys, CPA's and the firm internal professionals. Perform on-going asset review reporting activities, including business financial and operating performance analysis, in order to assess and manage risk, support account acceptance and holding recommendations, and to ensure compliance with banking regulations, fiduciary standards and the firm’s investment policy. Apply financial, operating and other relevant business information in appropriate valuation methodologies and models to derive and support pricing estimates. Establish solid business relationships with internal partners, business stakeholders, and centers of influence in order to provide an unparalleled level of client service in resolving asset related issues, carrying out asset sale negotiations, assisting in new business development and raising market awareness. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree is preferred. BS in Accounting is preferred. Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred. Should have 5+ years of Fiduciary Specialty Asset Products experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. Financial accounting experience is needed. Financial analysis experience is preferred. Financial analysis or accounting experience is a plus. Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership is required.
