Boutique New York litigation law firm seeking to fill a Legal Assistant position who will also be responsible for front desk / receptionist duties. This is a highly visible role, candidate must be polished and professional. Candidate will be interacting with all levels of staff, attorneys, clients and vendors. The candidate must have strong time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently as the position will be challenging and demanding. This position has the opportunity for growth and the ideal candidate will be independent, motivated, organized, a fast learner and proactive. Salary commensurate with experience.
Microsoft Office proficiency: Word, Excel and Outlook (will be tested)
Must be able to generate a Table of Authorities and Table of Contents (will be tested)
Typing Speed: 65 wpm (will be tested)
Internet research skills (will be tested)
Word processing skills (will be tested)
Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to perform in a fast paced environment
At least 1 year of law firm experience
Computer savvy and technologically inclined
Availability and willingness to work significant overtime and travel as needed
Associate Degree (minimum 3.0 G.P.A.)
