Senior Director, U.S. Operations
The candidate will develop a high-performing team of authorization specialists and set the strategic vision for U.S. export authorizations. Implement and maintain appropriate recordkeeping policies and procedures and satisfy applicable reporting requirements. Coordinate and collaborate with business segment compliance leads on authorization management, technology and commodity export transactions. Develop and deliver authorization-specific trade compliance training. Support a strong culture of compliance in the effective management of U.S. authorizations. Set and execute toward key performance and key risk metrics. Support deployment of policies, procedures, tools, and other infrastructure within ITC and within the business. Collaborate with ITC Leadership to drive continuous improvement. Engage Business Leadership to drive business execution. Oversee the implementation of an ITC Help Desk to drive engagement and provide real-time support to business operations. Monitor proposed authorization-related laws and regulations and provide advice to business stakeholders regarding implications and requirements on business strategy. Participate in relevant trade compliance associations and industry group discussions. Lead engagement and communication with government officials, as required. Identify, analyze and implement robust compliance systems and IT tools to enhance export operations. Undertake special projects and support other compliance program continuous improvement initiatives.
