Internal Ref: 5000280438706Job DescriptionHuman Resources Administrative AssistantThe Human Resources (HR) Administrative Assistant manages a wide range of administrative tasks.Position CompetenciesSuccessful incumbents are approachable, customer focused, have strong functional and technical skills, proactively inform, have interpersonal savvy, listen well, have organizational agility, persevere and can manage their time well.Position Responsibilities:-Provides administrative support to four HR Consultants and the Divisional Manger in various states.-Organizes work by reading, routing correspondence; collecting information; intercepting phone calls; and resolving issues on manager's behalf and initiating next steps.-Maintains schedules by maintaining calendars for HR Consultants and Divisional Manager, departments and programs; arranging meetings, events, teleconferences and travel.-Coordinates completion of several projects at once by taking initiative and following up with managers, team members and clients.-Completes requests by greeting internal clients and external customers; answering or referring inquiries.-Maintains confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.-Prepares accurate and timely reports by collecting information and asking follow-up questions.-Maintains office supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; and verifying receipt of supplies.-Contributes to team efforts by initiating communication with team leaders and accomplishing related activities as needed.-Ensures compliance by completing the necessary compliance-related training and adhering to compliance standards and policies.TravelTravel is not required of this position.RelocationNo relocation assistance is provided for this position at this time.Qualifications- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)- 3 years secretarial or administrative assistant experience- 2 years experience with MS Word, MS Excel (pivot tables, charting, formulas) and MS PowerPoint- 2 years experience with e-mail applications such as Lotus Notes and MS OutlookWork Schedule8:30am - 5:00pm Monday - FridayWork Location(s)39400 Woodward Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304About ComericaWe know that our employees are critical to our overall success.
