The ideal candidate will have experience processing payroll for a large company (over 8,000 employees) in a multi-state environment. \r\rIn this position you will be responsible for:\r\r\rProcessing bi-weekly/weekly payroll for the Corporate office as well as station employees\rWorking with station contacts to ensure all electronic time cards are submitted by payroll deadlines\rSetting up garnishments and working with various agencies\rEntering commissions, draws, bonuses and imputed income\rPay General Manager overrides, hair and clothing allowances for on-air talent and other incentives and bonuses\rProcessing bank files and treasury reports\rHandling ACH returns as well as check voids/reversals\rSupporting and guiding station Payroll/HR contacts regarding payroll/Oracle issues\rReceiving, auditing and transmitting various files\rHiring and terminating employees in Oracle HR/Payroll system\rCreating and maintaining job titles and work schedules in Oracle\rRunning monthly Costing and Transfer to GL processes\rRunning monthly reports in EIS reporting system that support the Corporate Accounting department\rAssist with costing set ups for the stations\rIssuing manual checks as needed\r\r\rRequired Skills:\r\r\r2-3 years Payroll processing experience for a large multi-state company\rStrong Excel required and Oracle HR/Payroll experience a plus\rMust be able to work in a deadline driven environment\rStrong oral and written communication skills\rProficient analytical skills\rWell organized, solid work ethic\r\r\r Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace!
