Trusts and Estates Attorney
The candidate should have JD from an ABA-accredited law school, and Florida Bar Admission. An LL.M. in Taxation is strongly preferred, but the lack of an LL.M. can be substituted with the right depth of experience. Experience in estate planning document drafting with accuracy and efficiency; preparing and reviewing estate tax returns, gift tax returns, and trust income tax returns is preferred. Experience working with sophisticated and complex matters and high net worth clients. Exhibit strong technical knowledge in estate and trust planning, including excellent tax research and legal writing skills. The ability to work independently and under tight timelines; and to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks. The ability to work as part of a collaborative team of attorneys and paralegals in estate planning, tax planning, and probate and trust administration matters is a prerequisite.
