Under

broad direction, the Senior DevOps Software Engineer will be responsible for developing,

maintaining, and enhancing DevOps, CI/CD, and Cloud technology for Hana. This

role requires a hands-on technologist with the ability to support Hana’s DevOps

and cloud infrastructure and applications, collaborate with cross-functional

teams, and drive strategy.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Hana

development teams to drive an agile DevOps environment focused

on efficient operation of daily activities, developer productivity, and

continuous improvement of the framework.

Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of CICD frameworks and tools with a vison to achieve CICD objectives to reduce manual build and deploy efforts.

Serves as technical point of contact responsible for supporting Hana’s AWS cloud applications, strategy, and break-fix (this is a hands-on role).

Keep abreast of emerging technologies and utilize scalable open source projects. Make suggestions to upper management to properly align technology with business goals.

Collaborate with development and project management team members to deploy enhancements in an agile environment.

Define and drive adherence to security and compliance directives/best-practices.

Performs the investigation and resolution of complex and critical data, system, and software issues in the production environment.

Performs the evaluation of new platforms, tools, and technologies.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills Required:

3-5 years of development experience and production DevOps management.

Ability to create DevOps pipeline as code.

Experience with DevOps/Agile operations process and tools (test automation, code coverage, build and release automation, blue-green and canary deployment methodologies, ITIL framework, infrastructure and pipeline as code).

Understanding

of source code control, versioning methodologies and GIT.

Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef and/or Ansible.

Experience with containers and container management such as Docker, Kubernetes, Fargate.

Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Scripting experience with technologies such as AWS CLI, Go, Python.

Ability/Experience managing the DevOps (CICD) pipeline for Web Applications, iOS and Android Mobile phones (Native Code/React Native/Hybrid).

Working knowledge of mobile build systems (Xcode, Fastlane, Mint, Carthage etc.) and experience distributing mobile apps to the Apple AppStore and Google PlayStore.

3 years of experience with Amazon AWS.

Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

Certifications & Education

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study

AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification
