Sacramento office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a midlevel class action litigation associate attorney with 3-6 years of litigation experience. The candidate will effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties. Will produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner. Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products. Successfully meet deadlines and expectations, and perform work duties as required. Foster positive work relationships. Comply with all firm policies and practices. Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as (a) working at a computer for extended periods of time, including on-screen reading and typing; (b) participating in digital/virtual conference calls; (c) participating in meetings as needed. Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned. Experience with class action defense and/or complex commercial litigation is highly preferred. Must have Admission to CA State Bar. Class Action defense experience in false advertising, unfair competition, and false representation is required. Experience with CA Unfair Competition Law and CA Consumer Legal Remedies Act is needed. Should have deep knowledge of the 9th Circuit, statutes, and case law. Must have experience briefing class certification and/or summary judgment. Experience drafting briefs and correspondence and responding to written discovery is required. Experience conducting depositions, oral arguments, and expert interviews is needed.
