Associates with 3 to 6 years of experience for Corporate Finance and Lending team within the Corporate Practice Group. New York office location preferred; however, can be located in any Akerman office. Qualified candidates must be familiar with negotiating, structuring and documenting debt finance transactions. Law school class of 2016-2019. Experience representing private equity sponsors or their portfolio companies, or lenders providing financing to such entities, in leveraged buyouts and other acquisition financing transactions is preferred. Must possess an outstanding academic record (with a JD from an ABA accredited law school), along with excellent writing and analytical skills, and be a member of the New York State Bar or have the ability to obtain admission promptly in the appropriate jurisdiction.
