A real estate law firm in Roseville, CA, seeks a Mid-level Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience and a strong understanding of real estate law, including complaints, answers/demurrers, depositions, discovery, motions, alternative dispute resolution, and hearings.

Duties:

  • Handle various real estate matters, including drafting complaints, answers/demurrers, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct and defend depositions and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes.
  • Manage discovery processes, including document review, production, and responses.
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and other proceedings.
  • Provide legal research and analysis on complex real estate issues.
  • Collaborate with partners, associates, and staff to ensure efficient case management.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California or eligibility for admission.
  • 3-5 years of experience in real estate law.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of complaints, answers/demurrers, depositions, discovery, motions, alternative dispute resolution, and hearings.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience in a real estate law firm is preferred.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California or eligibility for admission.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in real estate law principles and procedures.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice.
  • Strong drafting skills for legal documents and pleadings.
