The Training Development Analyst develops and delivers training programs and courses to all employees of the Plains Partnership. This position contributes to the development and continuous improvement of content creation procedures. This includes developing measureable objectives and expected outcomes of all new and existing training initiatives. This role reports to the Supervisor of Training Development.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Author eLearning content in Adobe Captivate, Animate, GoAnimate, Articulate Storyline, or similar solutions using course templates and following all development standards for color scheme, graphic design, and functionality.
Produce video content, including script writing, voiceover, and video editing, for training or awareness purposes.
Develop eLearning assets and courseware. This may include graphics, videos, animations, voiceover, and interactivity.
Provide technical expertise towards developing training courses, events and programs to meet or exceed regulatory requirements, best practices and established standards.
Establish a framework for fellow employees to utilize in the creation of training courses, materials and events.
Work closely with other departments/personnel to implement training strategies, requirements, prioritization, and objectives for all training courses.
Assist in the development of on-line, web-based training courses.
Modify third party training materials for specific use in Plains training programs.
Provide technical assistance for training courses, plans and corporate initiatives.
Participate in the budget preparation process to provide input for monetary resources to conduct training activities.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Thorough understanding of training development and delivery within a corporate environment.
Superb verbal and written communication skills and ability to effectively work with people of varying backgrounds at different levels of the organization.
Able to work collaboratively with various audiences/partners to resolve issues.
Strong creativity and innovation, including excellent organization, project management and problem solving skills.
Excellent working knowledge of computer applications used in a training environment.
Experience in video editing software and eLearning authoring tools.
Must have the ability to travel up to 20% of time.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
At least four (4) years of progressive experience in a content development role for learning programs.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, with focus in studies related to instructional design or content development. Certifications or content development experience viable as an alternative.
