Job Description:

The objective of the Wells Cost Planner iis to facilitate the Wells specific RtP processes, including Wells Manual of Authorities and Segregation of Authority requirements, ensuring business controls are followed.

The Deepwater Wells Cost Planner will be accountable for:

SAP Network Creation

Translate project cost estimates into SAP plans

Able to identify which suppliers and commodities require a purchase order vs a LOU

Able to identify gaps in plan based on in-depth understanding of offset wells and commodities required throughout the well construction process

Creation of Plan 82

Vetting of plan against budget, aligning with engineering on how to resolve the gap

Interface with Category managers and CP Operations to resolve OA / Vendor master data issues preventing requisitioning

Full understanding of AVAC math and how to resolve

SAP Network maintenance

TECO of activities/elements

Closure of POs

General clean-up to assist with assessments regarding the need for the supplement

Act as RtP SME interface with rig cost desks

Modifying plans and commitments as the project progresses and deviations from plan occur and can no longer be accommodated

Communicate with team Members and Customers

Utilization of the PO forecasting utility pre-execution

Interface with suppliers on commitments and payment issues

Act as RtP SME interface with rig cost desks

Take pro-active view in managing stakeholders and their deliverables via rig sequence monitoring and Cost Transparency attendance

Interface with finance regarding reporting needs, funding issues, WBS structures and WBS to network relationships

Interface with Construction and Maintenance as concurrent or supporting operations affect stand ways of working

Interface with CP Operations continuous improvement activities via bi-weekly and monthly connect

Prepare and communicate monthly trouble to spend ratio reporting for Gulf of Mexico

Interface with Finance Operations on WBS closure protocol and process

Interface with Wells materials Office and supply Chain Wells materials Focals in the facilitation of procurement of goods

Training

Provide hands-on education on RtP processes to engineering

Provide introduction to cost management for engineers – sessions twice a year
