Job Summary:
Through its administration of the Information Privacy and Protection Program, the Data Privacy and Protection Office (“Office”) furthers FINRA’s commitment to the integrity, security, and privacy of its regulatory efforts. Under general guidance of the Senior Director and Counsel, Data Privacy, this position is responsible for all privacy publications and courses, ensuring that those effectively convey the principles and requirements of the information Privacy and Protection policies and program to all constituents performing work on FINRA’s behalf in regulatory and non-regulatory capacities within all FINRA departments and lines of business, and that such materials are reasonably designed to meet the expectations of FINRA’s Executive Management, SEC, firms, and investors. The position responds to general policy inquiries, manages the privacy metrics measuring effectiveness of the program, and supports department requirements with respect to training and communicating changes in policies and practices.
