Job Description:


The Territory Manager is responsible for selling and growing the business each quarter within a designated territory based on geography or account designation. This is a developing territory with potential for continued growth. We are searching for people with a strong capital sales track record, solid disposable selling experience and the ability to sell conceptually. In addition, the individual should have experience in clinical, operating room and consultative sales, as well as the ability to execute administrative duties as required. The Territory Manager will work closely with their direct manager to plan and execute strategic plans, including a sales funnel to grow the business. 

Primary Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

Territory Sales Manager 

Drive sales growth through a capital product sales execution

Manage and grow disposable and capital business within a defined geographic area.

Monthly, quarterly and annual quota execution

Continual Funnel replenishment through a strategic prospecting approach

Familiarity working with CRM system (ie: NetSuite, Salesforce)

Ensure effective coverage and customer support within territory, including attending surgical procedures

May include managing, maintaining and leveraging strategic partners such as rental partners

Operate within Expense Policy guidelines and budget

Influence and Selling Skills

Strategic Selling knowledge or familiarity

Concept Selling proficiency

Plan and implement effective sales/product presentations

Experience selling to Value Analysis Committees

Experience selling in a competitive environment

Customer Service

Respond to customer requests and complaint handling

Educate customers to ensure product features, advantages and benefits are clearly known

Maintain high standards of personal presentation and promote a professional company image

Self Development and Product Knowledge

Develop and maintain comprehensive clinical and technical product knowledge

Demonstrate a high level of organization

Demonstrate strategic thinking and decision making ability

Actively participate in skills development programs as required

Knowledge, Skills & Requirements

MUST HAVE 5 years of solid medical device and capital sales experience. Also operating room and/or selling in a sterile environment

Proven track record of Sales Success

Strong interpersonal and communication skills using clinical terminology

Must be computer literate.

BA/BS degree required

Valid Driver’s License

Ability for travel up to 50% overnight
