As an Executive Sensei you will...
Build trusted relationships with key senior leaders within current and prospective client organizations.
Coach, guide and train executive leaders and boards to develop and adopt their own organizational management system.
Apply knowledge of the competitive landscape and health care industry policies, trends, technology, and information that affect Virginia Mason Institute business.
Demonstrate mastery of VMPS and World Class Management structures, applications, and deployment.
Display presence, confidence, and composure in presenting to various types of audiences; able to facilitate discussions about difficult, challenging issues; projects an authentic, energetic, and professional style.
Identify new prospective clients and new opportunities with current client base.
','!*!Our Successful candidate will bring:
Master’s degree or equivalent experience. Ten years progressively more responsibility and experience in leading change, executive coaching required. Five years in senior leadership function or executive leadership function.
Requires a direct impact on the client’s motivation to be an advocate for the services provided by Virginia Mason Institute. Requires a customer focus to maintain a high level of trust and engagement with the client.
This position is key to the growth of the transformational services business line as they work closely with the client during the initial contractual period and therefore directly impacts the revenue generating capacity of this program.
Requires comfort around executive leadership and an understanding of how health care executives think and work, as well as command skills to guide executive leadership conversation and direction.
Must be able to determine the best way to get things done with the executive team by talking their language and responding to their needs. Understand when to push the client and when to modify the approach to align with the current state of their cultural transformation.
Good communication and presentation skills such that they are able to maintain a flawless client experience, while often communicating virtually both internally and externally.
Familiarity with Lean methodologies required.
Current passport and ability to travel internationally. This role requires significant travel.
PREFERRED:
Master’s degree or equivalent experience in business, with emphasis in organizational development, leadership development, lean management or change management.
Experience in health care industry.
