Schwabe Williamson & Wyatt, a leading Pacific Northwest law firm, is seeking an experienced Marketing and Client Service Specialist either in its Portland, OR or in Seattle, WA office. This position provides strategic direction, project management, and support for the firm’s client relations and service initiatives and collaborates closely across departments. Leverages client feedback to create innovative service products to retain clients; formalize and streamline processes to increase efficiency and generate greater client ‎value.‎ Works closely with industry groups and administrative departments to foster a culture of innovation and client service. This role may also support other strategic business development initiatives and other firm projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Works closely with the Chief Client Relations Officer on the firm’s client service initiatives

Collaborate with Client Relations (CR) on internal, external, and client facing solutions including experience management, client value reporting, client and industry insight technologies, and other solutions orientated initiatives to drive business.

Collaborate with Information Technology (IT) as needed on the selection and implementation of technology including intranets, portals, extranets, drafting tools, and document automation solutions.

Facilitate innovative practice solutions and improved business processes by managing current technologies and implementing new technologies.

Lead client improvement initiatives to directly support strategic plan.

Act as the project manager for the Client Relations team and on certain firmwide initiatives.

Leverage and analyze data from client feedback and databases to help inform and improve the Schwabe client experience.

Work with Client Relations and to streamline our Client Service Team program, business plans, reporting and best practices.

Assist in experience database execution as well as tracking practice specific statistics.

Work with Knowledge Management to provide market research and assist with competitive intelligence and business analysis in support of the firm’s client teams and other client service initiatives.

Develop programs and tactics to partner, celebrate, support and promote Schwabe clients.

Required Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required. Project Management certificate a plus.

A minimum of five years of relevant work experience required. Professional services experience a plus.

Must be a self-starter who thrives on juggling and project managing numerous, high-visibility projects on tight time schedules.

Must be capable of handling pressure, and remain detail oriented and organized.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and a collegial, collaborative approach are critical to success; poise, tact and professionalism when interacting with internal and external contacts are essential.

Ability to set day-to-day priorities based on incoming requests and overall objectives of the firm and the requesting party, as well as to anticipate issues and opportunities and address them with little or no supervision.

Serving as the main point of contact for department initiatives and ensuring goals are met and understood.

Able to analyze data and provide actionable insights.

Ability to identify and effectively use data, experience and judgment to formulate realistic and sound points of view and effectively communicate the same to team members and attorneys.

Experience with Asana, InterAction or other CRM tools a plus.
