Job Summary:
Manage the daily administrative, business, technical and nursing support sections of a medical clinic in accordance with CHI FMG policies, procedures and standards.  Anticipate and plan for future changes.  Works with clinic physicians to maintain and improve support services and customer service.  Position will manage multiple locations. 

Essential Job Duties:
Operational Accountability:
• Manage and oversee clinic staff on day-to-day operations, including patient accounts, insurance referrals, nursing staff, and clinicians. 
• Identify and provide guidance in resolving operational issues.
• Collaborate with supervisors and clinic staff as needed to assure smooth clinic business operations.  Maintain effective relationships with Medical Director and Multi-Clinic Administrator that fosters regular ongoing status updates on clinic operations, and allows for quick resolution of emerging operations issues.
• Lead staff, clinic management, and committee meetings.  May participate in committees as requested. 
• Perform special clinic and network-wide projects to promote public and community relations.  Serve as liaison between clinic and external agencies.
Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with regulations and with clinic standards of quality patient care and patient confidentiality;
• Assure all patient-related feedback is properly responded to within established service level agreements, and that the resolution is appropriately managed and clearly documented.
• Ensure that clinic reports are completed and processed in a timely manner to allow for effective decision-making.

Performance/Quality Improvement:
• Coordinate clinic operations and activities to ensure efficiency and quality service is delivered within all sections of the clinic; ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
• Oversee and facilitate regular staff and leadership meetings to discuss methods for improving customer service and efficient/safe operations. 

Staff Management and Development:
• Manages and oversees all aspects of clinic employee management including selection, training and staffing.
• Ensures the effective development and implementation of benefit programs and HR policies and procedures.
• Responsible for employee performance management by completing performance appraisals and setting individual goals as outlined in policies and procedures. 
• Utilize best practices for performance management including: rounding, performance management meetings and strength interviews.
• Participates in professional development activities to keep current with health care trends and practices
Procedure Development/Implementation:
• Participate in the planning and development of CHI Franciscan Medical Group policies and procedures, as well as clinic-specific procedures and programs.  These may include medical support systems, marketing, infection control and billing procedures and/or others to increase and maintain patient volume and satisfaction.
• Inform staff and leadership members of any changes to policies and procedures
Resource Management/Budget Administration:
• Prepare, recommend, and monitor clinic budget, goals, and objectives taking into consideration input from clinic staff. 
• Oversee department specific goals and objectives with assistance from clinic leadership.

Bachelor’s Degree in health sciences, business or related field, and minimum of 3 years leadership experience, or minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in the discipline, or Master’s degree and no experience.
