Schwabe currently has an opening for a full-time lawyer to help support the firm's Indian Country and Alaska Native Corporations industry group, as well as government contracting in the firm's Business & Transactions department. The ideal candidate will have:

Knowledge of and experience with Alaska Native Corporations and/or Federal Indian Law

1 to 3 years experience with transactional law

Knowledge of and experience with government contracting

Excellent skills in legal research, analysis, writing, and in communication

A track record demonstrating exemplary client service, organizational skills, and teamwork

Demonstrated ownership of projects and willingness to work in a collaborative setting, but with significant independence

Strong work ethic and client service acumen, excellent academic credentials and professional references, as well as solid interpersonal and communication skills

Alaska. Washington, or Oregon State Bar admission or eligibility for immediate reciprocity

The pay range for this position is $140,000 - $165,000, depending on job skills and experience. The position is also eligible for discretionary merit bonus and consideration at the end of each calendar year.
