Director of Administration and Legal Affairs
The candidate understands the requirements on the company to comply with state and federal entities such as export administration, ISO 9000, AS9100 and other areas of corporate compliance. Understands quality policy and specifications for manufacturing products in at least one of the following core business segments: Aerospace and Nuclear and leading ISO9001 compliance for the Industrial business segment. Understands Companies Risk Profile, aspects and nuances of corporate insurance strategies and coverages. Introduced to and familiar with all corporate compliance areas. Introduced to and familiar with all external corporate counsel including: Labor, Patent, Corporate law domestic & international, real estate, business terms, fiduciary and others. Introduced to and familiar with all existing, company policies. Has reviewed all core business contract performance requirements including but not limited to: terms and conditions, buy/sell agreements, representative/distributor agreements, key service provider agreements, intra business agreements and new customer contracts. Has become familiar with all facets of Operational Management, including Legal/Compliance, Information Services. Has assumed full responsibility for company risk management as the Director of Administration including insurance coverages and monitoring safe work practices together with the safety manager. Has full ownership of the Quality Management System. Is managing compliance with various certifications (I/e/ ISO 9001, Aerospace (AS9100) & Nuclear certifications (10 CFR 50) and related standards. Has become familiar with all current client and departmental projects and begun to take ownership of 100% of contract reviews and projects. Is serving as a corporate Director and acting secretary of the parent company Fluid Components International and may be further assigned additional corporate capacities in our foreign enterprises. Is a Fiduciary and member of the 401K Administrative Committee along with the CFO and CEO. Has assisted in establishing yearly Quality Objectives and meeting agendas, and selecting and engaging outside consultants (auditors, counsel, consultants, subject matter experts). Has full ownership of Operations Strategic & Executive Management, Risk Management, Quality/Compliance, Staff Management/Development and Financial Management. Is serving in a corporate capacity for CEO for FA China Holding Company and FCI Measurement and Control Technology (Beijing) co. Ltd. Measurement. Provided management of all large-scale facility investments and projects. Education, Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Industrial Management or a related field. JD in Business Law or comparable education or experience. 10+ years of progressive experience in , Manufacturing, Contract Negotiations, and Project Management. 5+ years of experience directly managing a multidisciplinary teams in multiple independent departments within the manufacturing industry is a plus. IT experience is preferred. Private sector experience in aerospace, nuclear or medical, as well as, ISO9001, is desired. International experience is a huge plus.
