PIP Marketing Associate/ Claim Auditor

The candidate will serve as the liaison between Personal Injury (PI)/Personal Injury Protection (PIP) attorneys and medical providers. Develop new relationships, as well as maintain already-established relationships, with existing and potential clients/medical providers. This involves communication via email, phone calls, and in-person meetings. Perform audits of PIP claims. Run internal reports for inventory purposes and the procurement of business. Schedule meetings/luncheons with medical providers. Occasionally attend Personal Injury networking events. Assist the PIP attorney with PIP claim review, which entails. Review patient Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) by calculating the pricing for Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes. Evaluate medical bills/records and related documents to determine whether PIP claims were paid properly. Update Medicare Fee Schedule (MFS) pricing information. Provide attorney with findings to assist in the determination of whether a file should be litigated or closed. High School diploma or GED degree is required. Experience in either Personal Injury (PI) or Personal Injury Protection (PIP) is preferred.
