Salesforce Engineering Manager
Duties: Lead an established team of skilled Salesforce Developers to build reliable, scalable and high performing solutions on the Salesforce platform; used by thousands of internal employees and thousands of external clients & partners. Conduct a full technical audit of our Org, and assemble a KPI driven roadmap to success based on priorities & goals set by our team and stakeholders. Tackle the difficult problem of improving system performance and UX by refactoring declarative and apex solutions in our Salesforce platform. Review current solutioning processes for our admin and developer teams, and recommend proven methodologies to determine which tools to use in technical solutions (sync vs async / Flow vs Apex / Platform Events vs Futures etc). Assess current state of large data volumes, and take a hands-on approach to lead the charge on data archiving/retrieval, reporting and cleansing strategies. Ensure all core features in our Salesforce applications are running at optimal levels at all times – including Automations (flows/apex), APIs, LWCs, Reports & Dashboards, and more. Partner with our dedicated Technical Account Manager from Salesforce Signature Success Support and lead weekly cadences to ensure we are on track with performance based initiatives, and cases are being resolved. Triage and prioritize any escalated production issues that require the team’s attention. Set up a system monitoring strategy for ensuring all integrations and automations within Salesforce are running as expected, and will alert team members if there are any anomalies detected.
