Your opportunity
Responsible for supporting the Corporate Development team on a variety of projects, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), strategic planning, and market research
Conduct financial and due diligence analysis of potential M&A targets
Prepare presentations and reports on M&A opportunities
Support the development and implementation of strategic plans
Develop strategic plans and models
Work with senior management to develop and implement the corporate strategy
Analyze market data and identify opportunities for growth and expansion
Stay up-to-date on industry developments and trends
Be involved in inorganic initiatives as an implementation tool including M&A, team-lift outs and joint ventures
Implementing key enterprise initiatives by forming collaborative partnerships and coordinating with colleagues across businesses and functional areas
Assisting in translating specific strategies into initiatives with clear metrics, including ROIs, end-state targets, KPIs and other updates on progress across various workplans and other ongoing deliverables
Designing, developing, and templating business processes and roadmaps to drive delivery of initiatives
Assisting in coordination and delivery of annual strategy planning, communication, and engagement with internal and external stakeholders
Managing multiple and often competing priorities at once and balancing based on business needs and urgency
Generating actionable insights and contributing to efforts that drive results
Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills
Bachelor’s degree with strong record of academic achievement
Strong sense of ownership, commitment to the team, and accountability
Exceptional intellectual curiosity with proven capability to problem-solve strategically using advanced qualitative analytical skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to accumulate, organize, and assimilate large amounts of information
4 years of experience in a similar role in corporate strategy, investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or similar analytical and/or business leadership roles, especially with M&A deal experience required. Asset Management industry experience required
Proven complex problem solving and critical thinking skills; innovative with ability to create thorough analysis based on the situation
Dedicated and able to work independently with limited oversight
Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing, with a collaborative approach and outstanding listening skills
Professional maturity with the ability to coordinate with senior stakeholders and drive teams towards desired outcomes
Collaborative work style with ability to effectively interact with & earn trust of peers and senior management across the organization
Project and process management skills, including proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Nice to have skills
MBA or advanced degree preferred
Financial modeling skills
The ability to persevere in the face of challenge and exhibit a steadfast resolve and relentless dedication to higher standards

Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $175,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

Annual Bonus Opportunity:
Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
