Senior Enterprise Systems Engineer
The candidate provides ownership and management of firm-hosted, industry-standard legal web-based systems and enterprise solutions, Multi-tiered, hosted on premise, includes data reporting, visualization, and workflow, budgeting modules, credit and collections, fixed assets, cost-load modules (developed in-house), and legal time entry products, On premise document review technology stack and extranet platforms, On-premise hosted Printer, Scanning, Copying software support and Miscellaneous vendor provided web applications (Service Request systems), Hard Copy, Records, Conference Room scheduling, Shipping Rate management. Responsible for the health, security, performance and stability of environments owned. This includes infrastructure and application planning, installation, configuration, deployment, support, patching and upgrades as needed. Make recommendations on strategy tied to systems owned. Recommendations are informed by strong knowledge of legal technology and current trends. Act as project owner and drives progress on initiatives as assigned. Translate and document business requirements into technical solutions and support discussions necessary to implement. Develop and provide continuous improvement over enterprise systems realms. Create and maintain enterprise solution documentation including configuration guides, troubleshooting and design guides. Act as a liaison with the business as needed. Engage with individuals at all levels across the firm. Regularly engages with other IT teams including InfoSec, Operations & Infrastructure, Engineering, Practice Support and Vendor Management in support of existing and new solutions. Own technical relationships with key vendors. Provide After-Hours On-Call Support. Works as needed during maintenance windows. Perform other duties or special projects as required. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred. Should have 7+ years of increasingly complex accounting and payroll experience including 5+ years of experience managing payroll, and preferably at a law firm, is strongly desired.
