Attorney needed for Tampa office

Profile

A law firm seeks an Attorney to join their team in Tampa, FL. The candidate must be a member in good standing of the West Virginia State Bar and possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills. The role involves utilizing the Firm’s case management and reporting software, court appearances, and travel as required.

Duties:

• Actively utilize the Firm’s case management and reporting software to manage assigned matters
• Court appearances and some attendant travel may be required
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of Title & Lien Priority, Title Claim, Foreclosure, Eviction, TILA, RESPA & FDCPA

Requirements:

• Member in good standing of the West Virginia State Bar
• 6+ years of experience in mortgage servicing, secured or unsecured collections, loss mitigation, and/or creditors’ right practice

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Skills:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in case management and reporting software
• Courtroom experience and familiarity with relevant legal areas
• Strong understanding of Title & Lien Priority, Title Claim, Foreclosure, Eviction, TILA, RESPA & FDCPA
