Private Client Services Senior Associate, Tax

The candidate assists in providing tax compliance and consulting services to our high net worth clients. Should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or another relevant field. A J.D. or LL.M. in Taxation is preferred. Working towards CPA, CFP, Master's in Tax, or J.D. degree is desired. A licensed attorney is strongly preferred. Must have 3+ years of public accounting and private client services experience. Public accounting experience working in the private client area is desired. Should have significant knowledge of taxation related to personal income, estate and gift tax and wealth retention strategies, as well as taxation of entities owned by business owners (partnership and corporate taxation). Experience with Gosystems and BNA Tax Planner is an asset. Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite is a must. Basic knowledge of fundamental accounting, finance and tax principles is essential. General accounting knowledge and basic to intermediate tax knowledge is required. General understanding of financial planning concepts is needed.
