The Judnich Law Office is proud to announce we are now looking to hire a new Legal Assistant or Paralegal with immediate availability. Applicants should be technologically savvy and have great organizational, legal research, and writing skills. We are looking for someone with prior experience in a law firm and who is familiar with the Montana court system. Compensation will depend on experience, but is very competitively priced for the Missoula market.

Responsibilities will include:

• Drafting and preparing pleadings for filing
• Attend telephone conferences and prepare synopsis memoranda
• Maintain case files, pleadings, and discovery indexes
• Aid attorneys with settlement brochures, trial preparation, and discovery requests
• Gathering relevant information from a variety of sources
• Redacting information from documents
• Preparing trial exhibits
• Client contact and medical record requesting and analysis

Skills

• Proven working experience as a litigation paralegal or legal assistant
• Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation, documentation, etc.
• Highly Organized, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Westlaw experience
• Excel, Word, and Adobe expertise
• Familiarity with the Montana e-filing system.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
