King University is accepting applications for the position of Head Men’s Wrestling Coach. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the men’s wrestling program.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree is required. Candidates should possess a thorough knowledge of wrestling, a sophisticated understanding of coaching and training strategies, and a demonstrated ability to enhance student athlete development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as a student athlete at the collegiate level. Demonstrated ability and success in identifying and recruiting student athletes at a private, residential institution.
Responsibilities:
Supervise all activities related to the student athletes; provide professional mentoring to student-athletes; establish the team's competition and practice schedules; Recruit student/athletes that meet King University Admission guidelines to achieve roster goals and field a competitive team; Provide academic, personal, and professional mentoring to student-athletes; Comply with all NCAA and Conference Carolinas rules and regulations.
