Profile

The Human Resources Specialist will assist in enterprise-wide programs and change management initiatives that support the EnPro Operating Philosophy and the development and deployment of EnPro’s People System (EPS). This position will also support the corporate Human Resources team in a variety of areas including employee relations, talent management, people systems & data, and general administrative responsibilities. This person will work in a highly collaborative way in conjunction with the Human Resources leadership team at EnPro and its Divisions to develop a world-class team to support financial growth and people development in a dual-bottom line culture.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Employee Relations:

Model EnPro core values of Safety, Excellence and Respect

Leads and supports employee engagement-related activities at the corporate office.

Oversees the Corporate employee service anniversary award program

Consult with employees and leaders, ensure HR Policy is applied consistently in employee matters within the corporate team

Assist to ensure compliance with all local, state, provincial, union and federal regulatory agency regulations and requirements

Talent Management:

Initial screening of potential applicants and facilitating the interview process for EnPro and EnPro shared services roles

Delivers training for HR-related activities including performance management, etc.

Oversees the Corporate employee service anniversary award program

Partner with corporate leaders and divisional HR in organizing career fairs, college visits, student interviews, internships and co-op programs

Responsible for full onboarding cycle of Corporate office employees including recruiting, first day orientation and assimilation. Be a resource for divisional onboarding

Partner with the talent team to identify training and development needs specific to the corporate staff

Systems and Data Integrity:

In partnership with the subject matter experts, act as an administrator for the EnPro people systems

Maintains HRIS data for the corporate team, including employee records

Ensure data integrity within the systems. Completes routine and periodic record audits and contributes to yearly compliance reporting

Create monthly reporting and sharing of quantitative/qualitative data

General Administrative Responsibilities:

Assists with various administrative assignments, HR tasks and projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Human Resources, or relevant field required

BS/BA in Business, Human Resources or relevant field required

Strong understanding of Human Resource concepts, practices and procedures in a corporate environment

Knowledge of federal and state respective employment laws.

Willingness to travel

Willingness to relocate and assume greater responsibility over time.

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced

Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills

Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
