Internship

The internship will give students the opportunity to help some of the most exploited communities in California. Law students are considered. Will have the ability to enhance their legal training under the supervision of experienced litigators and community lawyers. Experiences such as participating in client intake, developing cases, representing clients in administrative hearings, litigating, researching, and writing are among the hands-on experiences students may have during an internship. Experience in researching state and federal issues is preferred. Demonstrated ability to provide clear, concise written documents is desired. Ability to work comfortably in diverse employee and client populations is an asset. Community service experience is a must. Sound technical experience with MS Office Suite is a plus. Bilingual (English and Spanish) fluency preferred for migrant offices.
