Program Coordinator

The candidate will be responsible for the research state professional licensure regulations and verify whether completion of an Ohio State University licensure program meets education requirements for licensure in each jurisdiction. The candidate will independently organize, execute, and document professional licensure research; proactively manage and seek guidance on projects; clearly and simply communicate complex information in person and in writing; and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Will confidently communicate with state licensing agencies regarding regulatory requirements, draft required disclosure statements, and communicate with university stakeholders about the impact of regulations on Ohio State programs. Will gather program information and student data, maintain a shared document storage system, and submit authorization applications and reports. This position will contribute to state authorization communication and outreach efforts by drafting articles and stakeholder updates, participating in State Authorization Advisory Committee meetings, and meeting with university stakeholders. Will also participate in regional and national state authorization network events and engage in professional development opportunities. Assists in maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations that impact educational activities offered across state lines and programs that lead to a professional license or certification. This role helps ensure that an Ohio State degree will be recognized and students will be eligible to apply for a license or certification in states other than Ohio.
