The candidate will act as legal counsel to clients during legal proceedings, litigations, and administrative board reviews when necessary. Guide clients towards best practices in corporate law regulation compliance by providing legal advice on corporate governance, policies, procedures, finances, intellectual property, employment, operations, and regulatory issues. Examine existing and prospective projects, mergers, partnerships, divestitures, and acquisitions for any potential legal issues. Execute, negotiate, create, and modify deals on the client's behalf. Analyze the legal risk and legal rights of various company structures, and make recommendations for a corporation, joint venture, limited partnership, and limited liability company options. Manage a caseload from start to finish. Computer proficient - ability to use MS Office and Google Suite. Superior negotiation, analytical, and communication skills are essential. Advanced transactional knowledge and understanding of corporate law, securities law, and tax law are vital. Should be a member in good standing of the state bar association and possess a license to practice law. Four-year bachelor's degree, along with a three-year law degree from an accredited law school. Should have Florida bar license; 3 years of Guardianship, Medicaid Planning, and/or Estate Planning experience. with a focus on special needs planning; strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow through; exceptional communication skills; adapt well to change and maintain a positive attitude under stress; ability to multitask and stay focused on the most important and urgent issues. Litigation experience preferred. Intake and Consultations. Drafting, e-filing, and serving pleadings. Manage clients’ expectations and return all calls within 24 hours during the week. Court appearances in the Orlando area and throughout Florida, if necessary. Network and build relationships to grow the business.
