Aon Is Looking for a Property BrokerAre you a Property Broker that is seeking to maintain a large book of business and seeking career development and growth working with very visible, high-profile accounts? As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions within Aon Risk Solutions, in a hybrid-remote role in San Francisco, CA.Aon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.How this opportunity is differentWork with a high-profile team that gets a high level of exposure to significant accounts, Aon leadership and our clients!What will your day look like?Market new and renewal business, handling all aspects of the placements from initial market selection through policy delivery to client.Ensure that placements are handled accurately and on timeBuild and maintain detailed knowledge of Property insurance marketplace, products, and servicesDevelop productive business relationships with key insurance underwriters and Aon local office teamsIdentify and analyze prospect and client exposures.Coordinate activities with other internal units as required to meet customer needs.Present to local account executives, participate in RFPs, occasional client meetings and conference calls.What skills will help you be successful in this role?Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, outstanding interpersonal skills, ability to make and communicate difficult decisions.Minimum of 3 years of property insurance brokerage and/or underwriting experienceEffective proven understanding of carrier underwriting practices & processes.Shown leadership skills in working with teams and ability to work with clients and to successfully exceed client expectations.Shown client facing skills including effective presentations & communications.Proven organization and ability to work with others.Experience in resource deployment and utilization management.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at various levels.Successfully operates in a fast-paced driven environment that requires the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.Must maintain appropriate broker’s license.Education:Bachelor’s degree preferred How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.  The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
