Dinsmore & Shohl, a prominent national law firm with over 750 attorneys in 29 cities, has an immediate opportunity available for an employment litigator in Ann Arbor or Troy, Michigan. Candidates should have 3-10 years of employment law experience. First chair litigation experience is preferred. Responsibilities include litigation defense, advising employers on compliance with state and federal employment laws, drafting and revising employment policies, and working on FMLA, ADA, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and violation of wage law matters. Qualified candidates can look forward to a practice that will include significant client contact and handling all aspects of complex employment cases for regional and national clients of all sizes.

A license to practice in Michigan is required. Out of state candidates who are willing to sit for the Michigan bar exam, or eligible for admission in Michigan, will be considered. All candidates should have a strong academic background and possess excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
