Job Details:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for learning all aspects of Poultry Live Production by working with the Team Members to learn how to promote a safe working environment and produce a quality product in a timely manner. Responsibilities include observing and learning how to ensure the area is running and producing at the greatest capacity possible while maintaining high quality. Will observe and learn how to work with Maintenance and other resources to ensure the equipment is working properly and meets government regulations and will learn to perform first aid when the nurse is not present. Will help the supervisors and or managers whenever called upon and perform any other duties as the need arises. Observing and learning the above duties will prepare the trainee to fill open professional positions in Live Operations such as Broiler Supervisor, Breeder Supervisor, Hatchery Supervisor, Live Haul Supervisor, etc. Trainee must understand the interactions between Live Operations and processing REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred. Experience: Experience is not required. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Travel: Travel is not required. POSITION REPORTS TO: Live Operations Manager
