The candidate will be proofreading/editing attorneys’ work. Travel arrangements for attorneys. Document and file organization (physical and DMS). Document creation, conversion and formatting. Preparing expenses. Other administrative duties as assigned. Communicates professionally and asks questions when necessary. Works both independently and alongside practice group team members. Prior experience as a legal secretary or assistant in a legal setting is required. An understanding of intellectual property law is preferred. Proficiency in Word, Outlook and Excel. Experience with Windows 10 is preferred. Prioritizes work assignments to meet deadlines. Should possess a positive attitude and takes initiative to contribute to firm/practice group goals.
