The

overall purpose of this role is to support the Product Owner team in an agile

development project in gathering and documenting user stories (requirements)

and in coordinating user acceptance testing.

·    Support the

product owner team as they work with our vendors to design a user experience

and define the requirements for a cloud-based audit tool.  Specific activities include:

o  

Actively participate in design and user

requirements sessions with product owner and development teams

o  

Assist with gathering and documenting

requirements from stakeholders

o  

Author business requirements as user stories

into Azure DevOps

o  

Assist with managing the backlog of user

stories in Azure DevOps

o  

Track open issues related to requirements

o  

Organize design and requirement reviews with stakeholders

and gather feedback

o  

Coordinate response to stakeholder feedback

with product owner team and with development teams

·    Support the

product owner team in verifying the output of the development sprints and releases.  These activities include:

o  

Organize Product Owner team testing efforts

for a sprint or release

o  

Coordinate with the vendor testing team for

test cases and test data as needed

o  

Document test cases and support Product Team

in recording results

o  

Confirm that all functionality delivered

within a sprint or release has appropriate test coverage

o  

Track open issues / bugs identified during

testing

·    Coordinate,

plan, and support User Acceptance testing with our member firm users.  This includes:

o  

Implement a user acceptance strategy to gain

support for the product and to verify the tool is meeting the needs and

expectations of stakeholders

o  

Organize key stakeholders to conduct user

acceptance testing within their member firm

o  

Ensure testers receive sufficient knowledge

to effectively execute a user acceptance test

o  

Define a UAT process that is efficient and

effectively manages user feedback, issues, and recommendations

o  

Triage reports generated by users during the

testing effort

o  

Summarize and report the results of the user

acceptance test

·    Experience

with application development using an agile methodology

·    At least 2

years of experience with defining business requirements and documenting user

stories

·    At least 3

years of experience with testing web applications and at least 1 year of

experience in coordinating a user acceptance test

·    Experience

in working with a global, virtual team

·    Excellent

communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

·    Ability to coalesce

and present material in a concise understandable form to various target

audiences

·    Quick

learner and self-starter with the ability and confidence to execute their responsibilities

with limited oversight

of working within a global professional services environment and with

international stakeholders

·    Experience

with Azure DevOps for managing user stories, test cases, test results, and

bugs

·    Experience

with global applications that require support for translation and

localization

·    A basic

understanding of the architecture for a cloud-based application, particularly

around what’s needed to support testing

·    Experience

with designing web pages for a positive user experience

·    Understanding

of public auditing and / or accounting business areas

·    Experience

with managing a small team in either business analysis or testing
