Senior Director/Vice President, Corporate and Business Development

Responsibilities: Identify, evaluate, propose, and present new business opportunities and lead related transactions, including running diligence and negotiating term sheets and definitive agreements, working in collaboration with team and cross-functionally with R&D, Finance, Legal, Program Management, and other departments and outside counsel and consultants. Play key leadership role in the corporate and business development function, focusing on organization and deployment of team resources, and having major accountability for effectively mentoring and developing other team members. Forge strong relationships and work closely with internal stakeholders to understand and support objectives and their translation into corporate and business development opportunities. Build strong relationships and networks with potential external partners. Continuously monitor developments in the field via published literature, trade press, conferences, and relationships across academia and industry. Contribute to strategic planning initiatives in collaboration with CBO and team, Finance Department, and other executive leadership. Contribute to development and evolution of corporate and business development strategies and objectives. Foster and contribute to a vibrant team and company culture.
