The Lead Security Architect determines security architecture requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements. The Lead Security Architect works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Responsibilities
The Lead Security Architect plans security systems by evaluating network and security technologies; developing security requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices; designs public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software; adhering to industry standards. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
10 or more years of technical cyber security architecture experience
2 or more years of project leadership experience such as policy compliance, technical policy, configuration management, cloud, deception abatement, protocol interoperability.
Experience integrating Cyber Security technologies with existing technologies - mobile.
Experience implementing Cyber Security technologies with enterprise-wide impact, e.g. endpoint management.
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
